Dan Aquilina completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2020, and have since been working in both clinical and community-based settings. He was born with scoliosis and decided to become a physiotherapist when he had learnt how powerful movement therapy can be in treating his own chronic painful and movement states. He now understand that he has a lot more control over my own condition than he had previously realised and he has become committed to helping others achieve their own health, functional and pain management goals through physiotherapy. As well as having experience in treating and recognising a variety of chronic and acute musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, he also have a keen interest in paediatric physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and work health and safety. He remain an active member of the greater physiotherapy community, forever learning and updating himself with the latest best evidence research in physiotherapy. Outside of work, he is a newly keen boater, scouting the Adelaide metro seas, sinking a line, and catching a fish is always an added bonus.
