Dr Bollard was born in Adelaide and completed his bachelor's degree in psychology at Flinders University. Post graduate studies were conducted at the University of Adelaide, where he obtained a diploma in applied psychology and a PhD (doctorate) in clinical
psychology. He is a fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists. Areas of professional interest include ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety and depressive disorders, and substance use disorders.
Dr Bollard is married with four children and nine grandchildren. Interests include spending time with the kids, all sports, driving in the country, movies and eating out.
